BIO
I am a self-taught photographer and opened my first studio right after graduating college. Soon I was shooting for major fashion and advertising accounts in New York City. I had no preconceptions, no habits to break, just a fresh approach that came from the heart - and a strong desire to create.

I approach portraiture and lifestyle photography as an artist with a strong point of view and years of experience – a blend of artistic sensibilities and professionalism. I love working with people, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and bringing out the best in a person or a group. I always love taking pictures. I love the magic that can happen. I love the feeling when it all comes together in front of me and inside me. I love the collaboration with others to facilitate this creative moment. I love the life force that comes through me at these times.

My intention professionally is to provide an artistic edge to any shoot for ad agencies, private and corporate clients, book publishers, and magazines, while respecting the practical requirements of the assignment.
Though still shooting film when requested, I have embraced the digital world 100% as another tool of self-expression, and am expert in high-end digital production and photoshop.

Recently I began painting, combining photography and paint in a personal and unique way. It is an organic out-growth of what inspired and informed my photography: beauty, color, geometry, imagination, and the unknown. Please see the art section of the website.

Now living and working in Philadelphia, I continue to work with my clients in New York, commuting easily between these two wonderful towns. I enjoy the best of both worlds.
